  13.     There is only one #1 this year after Jan. 1.   My proposal works
  14. when there are two #1, that is, one in AP Poll and one in CNN/USA TODAY Poll.
  15. When this happens, here is the solution: add the points in two polls and make
  16. a new poll.  Let's call it JLI POLL.  Here is an example:

  27.     There are several advantages of JLI POLL:

  29.     1.  There is only one #1.
  30.     2.  No more fight on who is #1 after Jan. 1.
  31.     3.  We can still enjoy the old-fashioned college bowl games.
