- Well, The Alabama Crimson Tide did what no one thought they would be able to
- do in last night's Sugar Bowl. They beat the Miami Hurricanes and won
- the National Championship, the first for Bama since the legendary Bear
- Bryant days.
-
- This game turned out to be a lopsided win for the Tide. That was surprising
- since it was probably the best matchup we have had for the title in
- quite some time. Both teams came in with highly ranked defenses. It was turn
- overs that killed the Canes, namely three interceptions, one returned for a
- touchdown. I believe the other two ints also led to Bama scores.
-
- All in all, I think it was a great game. Miami has been a great team
- for a long time and had a good long winning streak. But now, it's
- the Tide's turn to shine. Congrats to all the Bama fans out there. You have
- one heck of a team.

- P.S. It was finally good to see Michigan win the Rose Bowl after a long
- drought and avenge last year's loss to Washington.
