  26. Are you suggesting that Larry Smith should be replaced? Just curious, how most
  27. of fans think of Larry Smith as a USC Coach? He got USC back to the Rose Bowl
  28. for 3 straight years and was elected as "Pac-10 Coach of the Year" for 2 
  29. consecutive years in 1988 and 89. But he also made records such as lost to
  30. ND 6 in a row and gave up 52 points to California last year.

  32. Howard(? The previous coach) was fired right after he lost to ND in 1986 38:37,
  33. after leading 37:20 in 4Q. I think that's 1 of the reasons that he was fired.
