- Well, I do not think so. A statement like "a candian team beat the Yanks"
- doesn't hold at all. It was a canadian ballclub but definetely not a canadian
- team. It will be the same if Penguin fans started saying they whipped the
- Canadians at their own game. I am sorry to bring this up on r.s.c but this
- statement has always bothered me. Baseball in Canada just exists so that
- the MLB gets an international flavor and more market for TV etc. It will
- take few decades before a canadian team can beat an american team.
