- Is it a Diesel or an Electric? Michigan Central was part of New York
- Central Sysytem, and their tunnel motors for the Detroit River Tunnel,
- carried NYC System markings, at times. NYC also had a variety of
- straight electric, battery electric and diesel electric and battery
- diesel electric working the electrified zone around Manhattan.
