- My previous posting looking for a 50's vintage transmitter yielded the kind
- offer of two old Heath rigs and an old Drake. I'm considering each of these
- offers carefully, but before deciding thought I'd try one more posting.
-
- I've recently acquired a fine old NC300 receiver in excellent working order,
- and that has motivated me to consider setting up a genuinely quasi-antique
- radio station. The ideal transmitter to accompany the RX would, I guess, be a
- '50's vintage Johnson or Hallicrafters. Would prefer VFO control, but CW only
- would be fine. Anything suitable gathering dust in the back of the shack?
-
- Thanks.
