- I have a like new Icom R70 HF(shortwave) receiver for sale. It is the
- predecessor to the R71A and has the same basic appearance. It does not
- have a direct frequency entry keypad or operating memories. It does have
- dual VFOs and does have a PLL synthesized tuning system. From an RF point of
- view it is the same as the R71A, just not as convenient to use if you are
- into punching in frequencies. If you like knob style tuning, then you
- will not notice anything out of the ordinary.
-
- The receiver includes the original operating manual, the original box
- and the service manual which has never been used, but was obtained for
- completeness. The receiver is like new, and operates flawlessly. I can
- honestly say that my NRD535D seems no more sensitive than the R70 in
- side by side tests.
-
- The price for this gem is $450.
