  16. As far as I know, the Lowe HF-150 and HF-225 (with options) have synchronous
  17. modes. Both models have double sideband; only the 150 has selectable upper
  18. or lower as well.

  20. In terms of performance, the Lowe radios simply outclass the SONY portables;
  21. they also cost almost twice as much.

  23. The HF-150 also has a wide-bandwidth double sideband "Hi-Fi" synchro mode for 
  24. stations having no adjacent channel interference. This gives near-FM quality on
  25. strong signals in the clear. It must be heard to be believed.
