- Try listening for the Cuba/Moscow link on 15024 or 8842 kHz. The
- transmission is in CW. The information transmitted was BORT (flight
- number), times of arrival, departure etc. of Aeroflot flights. These
- broadcasts were heard as conditions and traffic dictated and most
- times were directed to/from the flights while in the air. Since the
- Russian presence in Cuba (especially Aeroflot but not the spy station
- at Lourdes) is radically diminished, you may not hear much or anything
- on this link. CMU-967 (Soviet Navy in Cuba) also used to be very interesting.
- This was especially so during the test of Buran when the Russkies
- communicated with the Marsahl Nedelin space event support ship on this
- link.
