  15. As several posters have asked about this, here's some info about stations 
  16. that carry Pacifica Radio programming.  (This is taken from a Pacifica
  17. brochure which is about a year old.)

  19. P = Pacifica (O&O) Station.
  20. A = Affiliate stations carry the news and all other Pacifica programming.
  21. S = Subscriber stations carry Pacifica News and some other Pacifica
  22. programming.

  56. Most of the above stations receive Pacifica programming via satellite:
  57. Galaxy VI, analog SCPC.  This is the same satellite that carries most
  58. of the NPR programming.

  60. In addition, KZSC 88.1, Santa Cruz, CA carries the KPFA news and some other
  61. programming, via off-the-air pickup.

  73. KPFA has just started a satellite uplink of its programs on Ku band on
  74. GE Americom K1 TR7 (H) 11887.900 MHz using Musicam compressed digital
  75. stereo (128 KBPS, QPSK).  This service initially is to feed KFCF in Fresno
  76. with an improved signal. (Approx 90% of KFCF programming is a relay of KPFA.)

  78. These satellite signals can be heard by anyone in the continental US with the
  79. proper equipment.  Any stations that wish to carry Pacifica programming, please
