  14. I just got a new Ramsey kit catalog, and note they have
  15. a packet modem kit for about $60 ($72 with case) for the
  16. IBM PC/clones.  I wonder if anyone here has buitl that?
  17. I can't tell from the picture what's in it, but there 
  18. appear to be 2 ics, a crystal, something on a large 
  19. heatsink, plus misc components.

  21. What's the speed (1200, I presume?).

  23. In addition, they have a Microwave Motion Detector for about
  24. $20 ($33 with case).  Anyone built that?  Would that be
  25. suitable for use as described in the "Trolling for Tailights"
  26. thread on sci.electronics?
