- I just got a new Ramsey kit catalog, and note they have
- a packet modem kit for about $60 ($72 with case) for the
- IBM PC/clones. I wonder if anyone here has buitl that?
- I can't tell from the picture what's in it, but there
- appear to be 2 ics, a crystal, something on a large
- heatsink, plus misc components.
-
- What's the speed (1200, I presume?).
-
- In addition, they have a Microwave Motion Detector for about
- $20 ($33 with case). Anyone built that? Would that be
- suitable for use as described in the "Trolling for Tailights"
- thread on sci.electronics?
-
- THANKS
