- You saying that the 6v batteries were only reading 1v? Or the component
- cells were reading 1v each? There is a big difference...

- If the battery was reading 1v, rather than 6v, then you might as well
- find a stack of papers that need a weight, because that's what you have.

- Typically, when a gel cell's voltage drops that low, the cell is shot.
- There may be ways to breathe some life into them, but the results are
- usually less than poor.
