- I have read here about the toughness of Nikonos and Leicas. I cannot
- dispute these claims as I have yet to be fortunate enough to own either of
- these cameras. I am a hobby shutterbug and i am none too gentle with my
- gear which consists of two old Pentax screw mount bodies, SP 500 and SP
- 1000. Both cameras have had their share of drops onto various surfaces and
- exposure to nasty Newfoundland liquid sunshine. Both show the signs of
- their wear and tear but function beautifully. Especially when I use my
- Zeiss lenses on them :) The only draw back is the stop down metering :(
- which I don't mind so much as i have never had an auto exposure camera
- either. TTFN
