- "Universal" means the old Pentax screw mount. The "T" screw mount is
- the same diameter, but a different pitch thread, so you mess things up
- by trying to put one into the other w/o an adaptor. A "universal" T
- mount adaptor lets you put a T mount lens on an old Pentax.

- The T mount system also assumes the thickness of the adaptor as part
- of the design, so you can still focus at infinity. Otherwise the
- adaptor is a 14mm or so extension tube :-).
