  23. I think it is possible technically. Since the Elans use IR detector to
  24. sense the film transport (and thus count the frames), there should be
  25. no problem for them to do the same thing while rewinding, so that the
  26. rewinding can be stopped as soon as there is no more holes detected or
  27. until as many frame as have been used ( plus a few more holes) are
  28. rewound.
