  15.     After much deliberation, I have finally decided to go with the 
  16. Minolta X-700.  It has all the features I need, and more.  I
  17. orignally was thinking of the X-9, for price reasons.  But then
  18. I discovered how cheap things are at B&H.  The local camera shops
  19. here all wanted about $370 CDN for the X-700;  at B&H it is only 
  20. $199 US.  Even after paying the exchange on the dollar (which is
  21. down at the moment), the tariffs, and the GST, I'm getting the 
  22. X-700 for less then the local people wanted for the X-9.

  24.     I would like to thank everyone for their responses and suggestions;
  25. I received a lot of mail!  I have compiled all the replies, so if anyone
  26. ever needs suggestions/advice on the X series, just drop me a line.
