  14. The manual for the Minolta Dynax/Maxxum 8000i claims a battery life of
  15. 50 rolls of 24 exposures for a 2CR5 "based on Minolta's standard test
  16. method using a fresh battery at 20 degrees C ( 68 F )".
  17. There is a disclaimer about how you use the camera and how long
  18. the battery has been on the shelf. The 8000i doesn't have an internal
  19. flash or power zoom but is AF.

  21. I can't give definitive figures , but I have shot at least 20 films
  22. on the battery currently in the camera , at least ten of which were
  23. 36 exposure. This is in "normal" use , with pre-focussing and framing,
  24. tests, etc. The camera is not yet giving the "low-battery" warning,
  25. but the previous battery expired very rapidly ( no warning ).
