- Rechargable Li cells are different from normal (primary) Li cells. You cannot
- safely and reliably recharge primary Li cells (though you can do it if you
- are VERY careful about charging current and are prepared to take the risk
- involved and don't go for many recharge cycles). Rechargable Li cells have
- been around for MANY years, but only in small size, low capacity cells
- (button cells). There are even examples of rechargable Li cells being
- part of an integrated circuit chip! Cell development has reached a stage
- where larger, higher capacity cells should start to appear on the market
- soon (93?). They may, however, be very expensive at first (though still
- cheaper than primary Li cells in the long run).
