  13. It seems to be essentially equivalent to the IS1 except
  14.     IS3 focuses and zooms MUCH faster
  15.     Focal lengths: IS1=35..135  IS3=35-180
  16.     IS3 has more program modes

  18. I like and have used both cameras...and am considering purchasing the
  19. IS3...but it is presently overpriced.  Maybe after xmas....
