  32. According to the Fuji people, reciprocity characteristics are the same for
  33. Fuji 50D.  I assume that 50 would behave similarly to 50D but don't know
  34. so for a fact.

  36. I've never let the "Not Recommended" stop me.  I've successfully made exposures
  37. as long as 6 minutes on Velvia using a factor of +2 stops (meter read 1.5 
  38. minutes so I exposed for 6).  I used 15M, the maximum magenta filtration I had 
  39. with me.  Color showed a definite green shift - I think that another 7.5-10M 
  40. would have been good.  It worked out fine as the transparency was a 4x5 
  41. intended solely as an original for printing and it was easy to correct the 
  42. color shift.

  44. In addition, I've seen some stunning pictures made in slot canyons where
  45. the exposures were in the neighborhood of 30 *minutes* on Velvia with no
  46. color correcting filtration used (this photographer likes to keep things
  47. simple).  I don't know what the original transparencies looked like - pretty 
  48. green I assume - but the photographer was able to correct them very nicely in 
  49. his printing.
