- I've read discussions on various third party lenses (Tamron,
- Vivitar, Sigma, Tokina) for manual focus cameras, but
- never anything on Minolta MD.
-
- How do the more expensive MD lenses rate? By expensive,
- I mean the prime lenses that go for over $200 mail-order,
- such as the 24/2.8 ($220) or 85/2 ($210). Would the Tamron
- 90/2.5 be better than the MD 85/2 at about the same price?
- Nikon and Canon have lenses of the same length and price,
- are they better/same/worse?
-
- In other words, where do the good MD lenses rank when
- compared to the major manufacturers and third-party companies?
