- I have an "oldish" View Camera Lens and Shutter that has some
- discolouration visible in the forward element, I believe that this is
- evidence of separation between the glass elements. The problem appears
- around one edge of the lense, quite visibly, but does not show on the
- photographs (at least in normal use).

- I have been told in the past that this is not serious and infact common
- in old lenses.

- Is it serious? What affect will it have (if any) on my photographs?
- Is it repairable? How are glass elements bonded together?
