  12.     I have an "oldish" View Camera Lens and Shutter that has some
  13.     discolouration visible in the forward element, I believe that this is
  14.     evidence of separation between the glass elements.  The problem appears
  15.     around one edge of the lense, quite visibly, but does not show on the
  16.     photographs (at least in normal use).

  18.     I have been told in the past that this is not serious and infact common
  19.     in old lenses.
  20.  
  21.     Is it serious?  What affect will it have (if any) on my photographs?
  22.     Is it repairable?  How are glass elements bonded together?
