  17. The FT-3. It had the superb mechaincal shutter of the Nikormat series
  18. (made by COPAL, btw) and AI coupling. It also had a much more robust
  19. metering strip than the earlier models.

  21. The other contemporary Nikormats, the EL, and later the EL2 had integrated
  22. circuits most of whom have died of old age and poor quality.

  24. IMHO the FM (and FM2, FM2n) are nice, but the don't have the same solid
  25. feel.
