- While on a business trip to Florida about a week ago, I managed to dirty
- the focusing screen (type B) of my Nikon F4. Yes.. I know that I shouldn't
- have taken the finder apart, but I got bored in the hotel room one night
- and decided to take my F4 apart for fun. Yeah, it wasn't a bright idea
- and you can bet that I would never do this again near a sink. I'm just
- glad that I didn't drop the F4 too.
-
- Anyway, I would like to know how and what is the best way to clean the
- focusing screen. I am particularly interested in how to clean the non-
- smooth surface on one side of the focusing screen.
-
- Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
