- Opinions vary on this, the ones I have seen I think of being a little
- on the dull side, my wife attributes the same behaviour to stubborness
- or even smartness. Oh well , no accounting for tastes.

- Very true, my wife (whose parents own a dalmation) dresses
- completely in either black or white - most of the time; has
- definitely noticed this. It is a no win situation for her. Of course
- the fact that she generally ends up having a tug of war with the
- dog , with both of them on all fours, may have something to do with
- the fact that she ends up covered in hair.

- This is supposed to be true, it is also supposed to be true that it means
- that their pee spots don't turn your lawn brown. This was a great added
- bounus that my father-in-law did not know about when getting the dog. He
- is a fanatic when it comes to his garden and was extremely pleased that
- he did not have to teach the dog to pee in one particular spot only.
-
- I would also add that they seem to make good protectors of the home.
- At least in the case of the parents in-law. They wanted a dog that
- would warn of strange people. The dog is absolutely perfect with all
- relatives, most all friends, but wants to go for most all of the
- tradesmen that come to the door (not the tradeswomen though).
-
- Your mileage may vary.
