  10. Min got a raincoat and boots so that we can continue walking even
  11. when it is raining and the boots so that she will go outside
  12. even when it is raining.  She HATES to get her feet wet! *laugh*
  13. The first time she had them on it was quite a sight!  She walked
  14. VERY slowly, lifting each foot HIGH off the ground.....poor thing,
  15. she did not know WHAT that was on her feet.  *smile*  It did not
  16. take her long though.....I think she likes them now, MUCH more than
  17. the raincoat!  *laugh*

  19. My sister made her one of those "Chew Man" toys for less than $2, 
  20. you know the ones that sell for $15?  *smile*  My brother (in law)
  21. drew the pattern and it looks JUST like the ones in the stores!

  24. It was a good Christmas indeed!  Excpect for Min and her new cousin
  25. Buster (half Golden Retriever, half English Setter 7 month old)
  26. fighting for the leader position the entire weekend.  I have never
  27. seen her so protective of her things or of Sandy, my other sister's
  28. Golden Retriever.  Min was downright mean about it.  Buster had just
  29. been neutered, but as usual, it had done very little good.  *smile*
  30. He never tried it much with Min, but he did with Sandy, and Min was
  31. right there to step in and stp him when he did.  I think the problem was
  32. that I thought he was in his crate when I brought Min in...she had been
  33. there before and knew that Sandy was there...she had been so excited about
  34. seeing Sandy, since we had been telling ehr all day we were going to 
  35. see Sandy.  She walks in and this NEW dog was there WITH Sandy.
  36. The fight started then really......she ran up and started an attack.
  37. We WANTED to introduce them outside...soemeon got their wires crossed.

  40. Anyway.....she would lunge at him any time he came near her food, her
  41. toys and sometimes when he went near his own toys.  I know that this is
  42. probably just the pack instinct......and she IS a VERY aggressive,
  43. dominant dog anyway.  But never like this.  Of course, this is the
  44. first time we have ever introduced her to a male dog for a long 
  45. period of time too.
