  12. Sounds like your Collie might have a pinched nerve or something similiar.
  13. Ten years old is fairly old for a Collie, so she might have something related
  14. to age causing it (maybe dysplaysia?)  I suggest you take this dog to the vet
  15. and describe the symptoms.  I doubt it is cramps, most dogs will limp around
  16. and won't recover as quickly if the problem is muscular.

  18. The Collie I grew up with had a similiar problem.  Unfortunately it was a
  19. condition caused by severe hip dysplaysia and damaged the nerves.  I doubt
  20. it is something that severe, but if it is a condition like that, the sooner 
  21. the vet diagnoses it and begins treatment, the better the chances probably 
  22. are.  Then again, maybe it is something completely different.
