- Sounds like your Collie might have a pinched nerve or something similiar.
- Ten years old is fairly old for a Collie, so she might have something related
- to age causing it (maybe dysplaysia?) I suggest you take this dog to the vet
- and describe the symptoms. I doubt it is cramps, most dogs will limp around
- and won't recover as quickly if the problem is muscular.
-
- The Collie I grew up with had a similiar problem. Unfortunately it was a
- condition caused by severe hip dysplaysia and damaged the nerves. I doubt
- it is something that severe, but if it is a condition like that, the sooner
- the vet diagnoses it and begins treatment, the better the chances probably
- are. Then again, maybe it is something completely different.
-
- Good luck and let us know!
