  11. I think a lot of us Canadians forget that there ARE differences between us
  12. and Americans sometimes! Specifically, I was SURE that there was no training
  13. of dogs allowed at obedience trials, but there were people blatantly training
  14. their dogs all over the place at the trail Dante and I attended earlier this
  15. month. I've since looked everywhere in my official CKC rulebook and can't
  16. find any reference to it...I guess I've just seen it so many times in
  17. American literature that I thought I'd seen it there too! I wish I'd known
  18. this before or I would have been practicing those long downs like CRAZY at
  19. that last show :)

  21. I just wanted to know what you all think of this difference in rules between
  22. the two countries. The rest of the rules seem to be almost identical. What
  23. about other countries, is anyone familiar with the rules regarding training
  24. on show grounds? WHY is no training allowed at American shows? Does anyone
  25. strongly feel that it should be allowed?
