- We neutered our male schipperke at about 2.5 years. It DID help a lot.
-
- He was being extremely aggressive towards Sue, and had nipped both Sue
- and my mother a time or two. He also went totally berzerk whenever a
- female "in heat" got anywhere near him. He had a chronic balanitis as
- well.
-
- Since the operation, he is MUCH calmer and easier to get along with. He
- is a little more "snuggly" and affectionate. He also gained quite a bit
- of weight.
-
- A LOT of how his behaviour changes will be from what you expect his
- behaviour changes to be.
