- Well, I'm afraid this is not much of a summary...most of you who replied just
- wanted me to forward informative replies :) I'm surprised that more people
- haven't tried this!
-
- One person mentioned that they had tried when their cat was younger and that
- they had limited success. They think that the age of the cat and the fact
- that they went too fast through the training process was probably the reason
- for failure. Aparently the cat also did not like the splash when it pooped,
- so started pooping NEXT to the toilet.
-
- I phoned the pet supply store, the training kit costs about $20. According to
- the guy I spoke with, people who have bought them have had good success. So I
- think it's worth a try at any rate.
-
- The books say that if your cat ever falls in, you may need to re-train it,
- but that it would of course take less time. The main thing to remember seems
- to be too go slowly with weaning the cat away from the litter/training form.
-
- I'll probably get one today, I'll let you all know how it goes after a month
- or so!
