- I recently bought a female canary to mate with my male. I have several
- questions, and I was wondering if anyone might know the anwers. Is it
- normal for them to fight and if so to what extent? My birds seem to
- fight in the morning and the late evening. It usually seems to be over
- food or the prime sleeping spot on the top perch. I solved the fighting
- over the perch by putting two perches up top, but they still fight over
- their food. I seperated them once and soon found blood in both their
- droppings. I talked with the vet and she told me they were stressed. I
- suppose I should not have separated them??? Has anyone seen this sort of
- behavior with canaries? Does anyone have any advise or word of wisdom?
- Your help would be appreciated.
