  17.   I think there was a (somewhat naive) undertone in some of the earlier 
  18.  messages that assumed that the fighter who did such a thing would 
  19.  select a couple that he/she felt had proved good leadership in some 
  20.  other area.  However, I don't see that as any more likely than the 
  21.  possiblity that the fighter would have made a good leader himself. So, 
  22.  it would just open up the crown to more individuals, not necessarily 
  23.  give us any better leadership....
