- With all due respect, Steve, what you've given here is a valid
- potential explanation of what you've observed, but remember that
- the conclusion is a generalization which theists may not have
- observed. I myself have seen instances of that kind of "I've
- killed a dozen people, but now I want to put that behind me"-kind
- of reasoning, but there is no shortage of rationalizing in people
- of all beliefs.
