- In his trip report Tom Middleton writes:

-
- Well, Tom, I saw Bill at Summerland beach (nude section)
- on Saturday, the day after we left you guys. I told him about
- the Camping Bares, but he said his daughter and her friend wanted
- to ride horses at her friends' house that day. Our friendly chat
- was going smoothly until I mentioned that I also ran for president.
- After that, he didn't seem as friendly. I think I found a polite
- way to point out that it wouldn't be necessary for me to run in
- the future if certain nudist/naturist issues were addressed in
- the mean-time. I think he answered something positive but it was
- hard to make out everything he said because his voice was a bit
- hoarse from a sore throat. Then a policeman came by and tried to
- cite us. That may have been when I woke up, but I don't remember
- much else too clearly.

-
- Almost accurate. Jim C drove most of those at the
- campground to Little Caliente. Jim C (that's me) drove them back,
- too. Jim C is one the nicest people you could ever get to know. You
- should probably send him some money for Christmas. His address is:

-
- YES! Definitely worth it! Those of you reading this that
- could have gone but didn't, missed out. Don't be so dumb next year.

-
- Tom, please show me on a map where along the river bed all
- of the above is.

- (even more deleted text)
- (the deleted text is interesting, well written, very descriptive, etc,
- it's just that this post gets to be way too long if I include the whole
- thing along with my comments...)
-
- One final note. When my group stopped at Big Caliente on the way
- out, we asked if anyone minded if we wore our birthday suits. There
- was 1 objection, so we wore bathing suits until said party left (right
- at dusk). We were told by all those present that (at least during the
- warm months) the sheriff (or maybe it was the ranger) would suddenly
- spring upon the tub and cite those not clothed. A $25 fine (or some
- such) is involved. We stayed another hour or so and had no such problem.
- But, it was COLD at night! (the air).
-
- All in all, this trip was worth it, even though for my group
- it was only a day trip. 2+ days would have been much better. Again,
- if any of you can attend next year, DO IT!
-
-
- "What did the good non-nudist/naturist say to the bad non-nudist/naturist?"
-
- "Nothing. The only good non-nudist/naturist is a dead non-nudist/naturist!"
