- My (possibly flawed) understanding is that the state is not required
- to be that repressive because it is "self-censorship on part of the
- station/network/studio to avoid litigation", or really more to avoid
- complaint, if not litigation. In light of the recent Barnes vs. Glen
- Theatre decision however, it seems the state would have no problem
- imposing cencorship if it thought it needed to. It might decide it
- needed to if anyone lodged a complaint.
