  14. Hi Pepl, this should only be going to Australian people, so if you're
  15. reading it's time to quit if you're not here :) Please excuse the cross
  16. posting,  but with the .synth split and the types of music that I'm
  17. attempting to contact required it...

  19. I'd like to start a mailing group for people in Australia, particularly
  20. Melbourne. Synth musicians whose tastes and styles match those of the
  21. groups in the distribution. The group would be a place for us to meet
  22. prospective collaborators or band partners, access production skills,
  23. people with equipment for sale, people with connections in the industry, etc.
  24. We may be able to organize joint releases or demo tapes. The concept of
  25. synergy applies here, and also "you scratch my back, etc...".

  27. Apart from the above, we could also swap demo tapes, give criticism
  28. (constructive of course!) and suggestions and perhaps help with other
  29. peoples' music. My eventual goal would be a loose-knit collective of
  30. local net musicians and their non-net friends who would be willing to
  31. help each other, work together, etc for the benefit of all involved...
  32. People from other states and cities would be welcome in the net forum,
  33. and when visiting Melbourne would have people they could meet up with
  34. or even work with over short periods or whatever.
