- I did a lot of research about 4 years ago and ended up getting a Yamaha KX-88.
-
- At the time, my main goal was to put together an electronic keyboard setup
- that would emulate as closely as possible, in sound, touch and feel, an
- acoustic piano.
-
- I went with the KX-88 because I liked the feel, and because it is a powerful
- MIDI controller. I've upgraded my acoustic piano MIDI modules a couple of
- times since then as acoustic piano samples have improved but the keyboard stays
- the same.
-
- Question: Does anyone know if Yamaha still makes and sells the KX-88?
