- FLUFFHEAD! ... you just can't type Trey's excitement into a file... ohwell.
-
- I have a theory that somehow the Phish on Junta is performed in such
- a way as two suspend time! One night last school year we were listening to
- Junta in a rather mellow state and somebody noticed there was an excess amount
- of smoke in one corner of the room. Several of us quickly motivated to find
- the cause of this smoke and it turned out a blanket on my friend's bed was
- burning! Somebody had been holding a lighter near it and had been flicking the
- lighter on and off without noticing it. So, we stamped out the fire, cleared
- the room of smoke, spent a long time laughing over the whole thing, there being
- a large hole in the blanket, etc, etc. All in all it seemed like an eternity.
- When we finally sat down and mellowed out again we noticed that Fluffhead was
- STILL on (we had turned it on when we first entered the room) and not yet quite
- done.
-
- This activity has happened several times since- we've been in a room,
- mellow, for what seems to be an eternity, a great deal of things happen, and
- Fluffhead is STILL on. I hypothesize that somehow the musicians in Phish
- managed to insert some sort of time warp into the song. Has anybody else
- noticed this rather interesting phenomenom?
