- Hi, Jow...er, Joe (Sorry!)
-
- I believe the tune you refer to from Ziggy's is none
- other than NICU. It was referred to as "In an Intensive
- Care Unit" by Trey at Portsmouth 3-8-92 but got another
- name lart...er, later.
-
- From memory, the Chorus goes...
-
- Would you please/make clear to me
- why nothing is the first thing that I seee
- and if you do/and I see you (NICU)
- then you will be the nothing left for me.
-
- oops, that's later. the verse you refer to goes
-
- Would you please/make clear to me
- I'm peering out through your opacity
- Though you rehearse/Tomorrow's verse
- Forgive me if I don't sing in your key.
-
- Is it a match?
-
- DMcC

- P.S. This is one of my very favorite of the new Phish
- tunes...NICU means Natal Intensive Care Unit in hospital
- parlance. I think the song is written from the baby's
- perspective and it is trying to figure out what is
- going on...
