- Hullo all!
-
- I just thought I would take this net.lull to wish
- everyone the very best holiday season (whatever your religious
- persuation). This time of year is a time when we take recount
- of all the good things in our lives. I am personally thankful
- that Phish is around, confiming the fact that there are still
- bands (musicians) out there that care about their fans and
- are determined to make music that isn't hateful, rotten,
- judgemental, or just out to make a quick buck. I was getting
- so down about the whole music scene, what with all the Vanilla Ice's
- and Ice T's stealing songs and singing about killing cops.
- Not that I don't think these issues (killing, homeless, etc.) need
- to be addressed - they do -, but I was so glad when I finally found
- a band that I could just LISTEN to. It didn't make me feel
- guilty, ashamed, etc. it was just really good catchy music
- to listen to. So I guess I just wanted to publicly say thanks
- to Phish for the effort.
- If Phish should somehow be reading this, thanks Page, Trey, Mike
- and Jon, for caring about the music and, more importantly, the
- attitude that it should display and be conveyed with. In other words,
- thanks for the effort. It really is worth it. People notice it
- and are moved by it. Who knows? It may even change the world.
- Thanks.
-
-
- peace out.
