  15. DATELINE: Boston. Yep, that's right at long last, this coming
  16. Monday, the 1993 PhishNet Shirt II will be done, hot off the
  17. presses and ready to roll out! I thank all of you who sent in
  18. your advance orders, but now that they're here, those of you
  19. who have been waiting for the real thing can let loose! They
  20. are still $15 (plus $1 for XXL and plus $2 for out of the US
  21. delivery), and there are plenty! I convinced the guys at the print
  22. shop to make an exception and use Haynes Beefy-Ts this time,
  23. too, so with the possible exception of a few XXLs and Smalls
  24. (which they'd have to get in and would take even more time),
  25. they'll be Hayne's Beefy-T quality! Now just keep your fingers
  26. crossed that it comes of the press right!

  28. (Don't worry - anecdote time, by the way, so get ready - these
  29. guys do some of the best work in Boston. Even Prime Apparel,
  30. who do all of Phish's shirts, look up to these guys. I know
  31. because after seeing the PhishNet shirt in Business Week,
  32. the guy from Prime tracked me down through John Paluska 
  33. and tried to get me to switch over to him! He said it was just
  34. his luck that the ONE Phish-related shirt to get in a high-profile
  35. magazine was the only one he didn't do. But he also said that
  36. Mirror Image does THE best work in the city, and that even
  37. going with him would be a step down - he sometimes sends
  38. his tough stuff to them! So it should all come out ok)

  40. The Deisgn, as mentioned before (and if it hasn't gone into the
  41. FAQ, it probably should...) is a large, swirling, psycho-colored
  42. net on the front with the blissed-out phish swimming cooly
  43. in the middle, at the very hub where it can be sure to catch all
  44. the action. The words PHISH and NET are above and below the
  45. net, and (if the screens come out right) are a sort of ripply
  46. blue watery gradation. The net address is on the back, along with
  47. the still-secret second image (just to keep y'all wondering).

  59. gathering before the New Year's show, let me know, and I
  60. can hold shirts for anyone who wants to pick them up then.
  61. But let's get a definite spot first - I don't know that area
  62. well enough or I'd suggest one myself.

  64. Anyway, order early, order often... I'm computerizing the list
  65. this year so things should move a little quicker. I hope this one
  66. is a well received as last year's - my sincerest thanks to
  67. everyone who helped make the whole venture a success and to 
  68. anyone who's ever worn one to a show... or plans to wear one to
  69. a show. Let's get the whole net connected!
