- For patriarchal evangelical types, part of the "danger" of the so-called New
- Age is the spectre of women doing their own thing, the spectre of women not
- being submissive to men, frankly. So Enya and Clannad (the latter a woman-led
- band) would logically seem threatening to such folks, however innocuous they
- might seem to the rest of us.
