  17.     This is a total shot in the dark, but it's been bugging me for some
  18.     time. I was listening to the Mission's "God's Own Medicine" and right
  19.     after that to Midnight Oil's "Diesel and Dust".

  21.     At the end of the song "Arctic World" from D&D there is a small piece
  22.     of string/flute-arrangement (well, it sounds like that, but 100 to 1
  23.     it comes from a synth), then the song "Warakurna" follows. This part
  24.     show a striking resemblance to the string/flute-arrangement at the
  25.     end of the Mission's "Wasteland" from GOM.

  27.     So, is it just my imagination, or did these guys copy from each
  28.     other? Or did both bands copy it from somewhere else? Or were the
  29.     synths just accidentally programmed the same way? Both albums came
  30.     out at about the same time, end '86, early '87 I guess.
