  17. If you were me (can I call me Dave, by the way?), you'd know better than to
  18. buy any record that doesn't explain who the songs were originally performed
  19. by.  It's too hard to look smart, otherwise.

  22. that Bowie thoughtfully pinned, so to speak, on their originators, in the
  23. liner notes).
