  19. Gee, if they're anything like us, they'll complete this *exhaustive*
  20. beta test with numerous carefully selected sites beating the hell out
  21. of it with absolutely *no* reported problems in the final 60 days.  Then, 
  22. the day it ships, an in-house engineer just goofing around will find two 
  23. major bugs.  Halt production.

  25. The O/S in my K2000R doesn't recognize the "local keyboard channel"
  26. parameter.  This means that the octave +/- buttons don't work nor
  27. is it possible to use setups.  For cryin' out loud, setup mode has
  28. its own button on the front panel.  Fortunately I don't really need
  29. the local keyboard feature but I discovered this problem in the
  30. first hour of using my K2000R.  Also, the occasional stray pixels 
  31. on the LCD make me nervous.  Considering the complexity and
  32. sophistication of the K2000R, I'm surprised it works as well as it
  33. does and so far it hasn't let me down.  I've used it in live performance
  34. felt confident with it in spite of its quirks.
