- I was in a music store that had a lot of synths, and I played
- one that had a truly amazing pipe organ sound in stereo (or so it
- seemed...I am pretty sure there were no effects boxes attached to its
- output). Anybody know what this was? I can't remember. I think it
- was possible an Ensoniq or Korg, but don't know the model number. Oh,
- and the keyboard was velocity-sensitive.
-
- While I'm here, is there an FAQ list or simply a list of the
- built-in sounds available for the most popular synths? Is there a
- list of popular keyboard synths and rackmount (keyboard-less) synths?
- I am not a professional musician, but want to get a nice synth...
- (with programmability and a host of nice built-in sounds).
-
- Thanks! E-mail replies would be great.
