- Cakewalk Professional for Windows

- This is a very powerful software. I just got it my self. My only complaint
- so far is that it does not allow me to globally adjust velocities. Instead,
- I have to draw a velocity curve on a graphic interface. But over all, it is
- great. If you are familiar with windows, than most of the features are
- intuitive, and the graphical features make life easy. In one case, I wanted
- to increase the tempo in a song. It was as easy as drawing a tempo curve with
- a mouse. I especially like their sysex support. You can define your own
- sysex messages for synths not included in their set (like old synths like my
- Elka EM44). This is great software if you can afford it. See if you can get
- a demo at a local store.
