- OK, so what is a good choice of low-noise op amp for typical guitar preamps
- with single-source 9V? I previously was trying the LM324, mainly because I
- had one laying around.
-
- Also, I read once about an NEC chip that's a 5-band EQ. Has anyone played
- with it? Does it make for good quality EQ yet cheap and easy to build?
- How many extra components does it need? Hopefully no more than one resistor
- and maybe one cap per band?
