- neither superfluous or 'nice.' I could give a lot of other jazz/prog-rock
- examples as well....

- I would agree, however, that most keyboard PARTS that have been written
- for pop/rock (including, obviously, any written by your sax player friend!)
- suck. This is due to a fault with the imaginations of most musicians,
- rather than a fault with synthesizers.
