  20. Gee, that 1" CD must be 'virtual vaporware', since the hole in the middle of  
  21. all CDs (no matter what their size) is a full 1.18" across  :-)

  23. In fact, a 1" CD single would be a great gimmick.  The record companies could  
  24. just charge their usual $5 to $12 profit (depending upon the artist's  
  25. popularity and whether the CD was on sale or not) and hand you a sheet of paper  
  26. with their copyright notice written all over it along with that statement about  
  27. how the CD medium is so perfect that you'll actually hear flaws in the artist  
  28. (oh, and they might save some room for the name of th artist to be printed on  
  29. there as well).
